“[Wednesday] sticks to her guns, and she’s not out to please anybody,” Ortega told Tudum. She appreciates this quality because she used to be a people pleaser herself.
In July 2023, the series earned 12 Primetime Emmy nominations, showcasing its popularity. “It’s been incredible to create a show that’s connected with people across the world,” Millar and Gough said. “We’re thrilled to continue Wednesday’s torturous journey into Season 2.”
