Monument Valley Coming to Netflix: Key Details You Need to Know

Netflix is bringing Monument Valley 3 exclusively to its platform later this year, and fans are excited.

If you haven’t played the earlier Monument Valley games, this is a great time to start. Both the original game and its sequel are coming to Netflix on Sept. 19 and Oct. 29, respectively. You can even pre-register for the first game right now.

What kind of game is Monument Valley?

Monument Valley looks like art with its beautiful, simple design and nice colors. The game is a puzzle adventure where you play as Princess Ida, solving tricky riddles to progress.

Using easy touch controls, you’ll move objects around to help Ida on her journey through strange, monument-filled levels. The puzzles are unique, playing with physics and weird architecture, making the game hard to stop once you start. The game feels a lot like M.C. Escher’s art.

Besides puzzles, you’ll meet the Crow People who block your way. They look cute but can be a bit scary!

What’s different about the Netflix version of Monument Valley?

The Netflix version of Monument Valley offers everything the original did and more. Subscribers can enjoy extra adventures with the expansions Forgotten Shores and Ida’s Dream. Both add-ons are free for Netflix members.

When does Monument Valley come out, and how can I pre-register for it?

The game will be available for free to Netflix subscribers on Sept. 19. You can pre-register for it here right now.
