The second part of the Monster anthology by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan dives into another famous case from the ’90s. Launching on Netflix on Sept. 19, Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story recounts how two brothers killed their parents on Aug. 20, 1989, and the chaos that followed. They were found guilty of first-degree murder and given life sentences without parole.
The creators, Murphy and Brennan, first brought us DAHMER — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story in 2022. It showed Jeffrey Dahmer’s gruesome crimes from 1978 to 1991, played by Evan Peters.
