Bad neighbors can really bring out the worst in people.
The Beast in Me: New Series with Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys
Claire Danes is set to star and produce a new limited series called The Beast in Me. The show is created by Gabe Rotter and produced by 20th Television. Netflix revealed that Matthew Rhys will join her as the mysterious neighbor in this gripping tale.
“I’ve always appreciated Matthew’s work, but seeing him with Claire on our first Zoom made me especially excited that he’s agreed to play Nile,” said Howard Gordon, the showrunner and executive producer. “We’re all looking forward to working with him!”
In the series, Danes plays Aggie Wiggs, a famous writer who has retreated from the world after losing her son. She hasn’t been able to write and feels like a shadow of herself. Things take a turn when Nile Jarvis, played by Rhys, moves in next door. He’s a powerful real estate mogul who was once suspected in his wife’s disappearance. Aggie becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth about Nile while dealing with her own inner demons. This dangerous game of cat and mouse could end very badly.
We think fans are going to love this thrilling storyline.
The show’s team includes writer Daniel Pearle, director Antonio Campos, Jodie Foster, Caroline Bacon, and Conan O’Brien’s Conaco production team.
Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on The Beast in Me.
