You didn’t really think that Georgia’s arrest was the end for the Miller family, did you?
Well, get ready because Ginny & Georgia isn’t going anywhere. The show is coming back for two more seasons, and Season 3 has wrapped up filming!
Sarah Lampert, the creator, shared her excitement about the upcoming season. “We ended Season 2 with Georgia arrested for murder — ruining her fairy-tale wedding and leaving the fate of the Miller family hanging in the balance,” she said. “It’s always been Ginny and Georgia against the world, but the world has never come for them quite as hard as it will in Season 3.”
When did filming for Season 3 start?
Filming started on April 29 in Toronto.
Is the production of Season 3 finished?
Yes! The third season has wrapped. Antonia Gentry shared her mixed feelings about finishing a season. “It’s always bittersweet to finish up a season,” she said. “I just want to see what we’ve managed to create this season, and see if people love it.”
Brianne Howey, who plays Georgia, felt similar emotions. “It’s so close, but there’s so much exciting stuff to do!” she said. “We’re trying to take a lot of pictures, and I know in my heart that we have an amazing season ahead of us.”
Fans can hardly wait for what’s coming next!
Who’s in the cast?
All your favorites are back. Howey and Gentry return as Georgia and Ginny. Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Diesel La Torraca, Jennifer Robertson, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Katie Douglas, Chelsea Clark, Nathan Mitchell, Katelyn Wells, and others will also be back.
Gentry shared how special the show’s success feels to her. “The show’s success has meant so much to me. More so, just because it’s touched so many people globally,” she said.
Are there new faces in Season 3?
Yes! Ty Doran and Noah Lamanna will join the cast in recurring roles. Doran will play Wolfe, a guy in Ginny’s poetry class who isn’t into poetry. Lamanna will play Tris, a smart skateboarder who tutors peers and hangs out with Marcus and Silver.
What’s Season 3 about?
The shocking end of Season 2 sets up the drama for Season 3. Georgia’s arrest at her wedding, after she killed Tom to stop his suffering, means big changes are coming.
Lampert explained, “Georgia needed to kill someone and she needed to kill someone in Wellsbury, Massachusetts.” But don’t expect a happy ending. “We can’t wrap it up in a pretty bow. That’s not real life,” Howey said.
New challenges and relationships await Ginny and Georgia in the new season.
Season 2 showed deep stories of depression, first love, and the strong bond between mother and daughter. It got 56 million views in its first five weeks and stayed in the Global Top 10 for almost two months.
Who’s making Season 3?
Sarah Glinski will join Lampert as the showrunner and executive producer. Other executive producers include Jeff Tahler, Jenny Daly, Holly Hines, Daniel March, Lance Samuels, Daniel Iron, and Armand Leo. Elena Blekhter and Ali Kinney are co-executive producers.
