Tyler Perry’s New Show on Netflix
Beauty in Black, a 16-episode drama by Tyler Perry, is arriving on Netflix on October 24th.
The series, featuring a stellar cast of seasoned actors and fresh faces, is part of Perry’s ongoing collaboration with Netflix. Under this deal, Perry writes, directs, and produces various content, including the February release Mea Culpa.
The story revolves around Kimmie, played by Taylor Polidore Williams, who struggles after being kicked out by her mom, and Mallory, portrayed by Crystle Stewart, a successful business owner. Their paths cross in unexpected ways. Will Areu, Angi Bones, and Tony Strickland also contribute as producers for Tyler Perry Studios.
